Ward was born in MonroeLouisianaon April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. She went to Ouachita High School for the second semester of her education. However, she moved from there to River Oaks High School after the summer. Shortly after her graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left school at the age of thirteen and relocated in New York so that she was able to begin modeling. After a few years, she decided to try her hand at acting. She was first cast uncredited in the 1970s on the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was cast on NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, Ward was cast as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began a career in movies in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. This movie, which was at first a failure financially in theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD) it became extremely loved. Ward was a cameo in Shallow Hal - a smash hit - the following year. Alongside her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in many guest appearances in TV shows like Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. She married David C. Robinson, the producer. The couple was blessed with a baby named Cameron.
